Windamatic's System for the insertion of externally slotted stators uses two machines. The PW-60W wedgemaker makes wedges and loads them into a magazine. The magazine is then transferred to the PW-60A coil inserter where both coils and wedges are inserted into the stator. The insertion of the stator occurs in a fashion similar to a standard inserter.
